I went here with 3 friends and we loved it! Three of us got filets and one got blackened chicken, and all were delicious. Our food did take a little while to come out because they have a new chef, but we didn't mind the wait as we weren't in a hurry. The service was excellent. Our waitresses were sweet and attentive. We also got a bottle of Cabernet that was really good and affordable. Overall, great experience. Don't judge it from its outside appearance!

Don't judge this place by a simple drive-by. So the outside is a metal building, so what? It's a good thing not to pay an arm and a leg for a good meal. We didn't have a reservation for a busy holiday night, but rather than turn us away, the hostess went the extra mile to seat us at the bar. I went with the fried pickles as an app. They were covered with "just the tip" of light batter, not caked-on like so many other places do. My salad was fresh and generous and the cheese and wine dressing was awesome, don't pass it up. The wife enjoyed her chicken fried steak, and the maple syrup to dip your sweet 'tater fries in was a nice touch. I have a passion for prime rib, and nothing pisses me off more when I have a bad or over cooked cut. The Prime was excellent. A good season and cooked correctly at med-rare. The bartenders and staff were very friendly. KJ's will be in my Hot Springs rotation.

This was a perfect meal -steak cooked to perfection, great wine, and divine shrimp. Worth the drive from the historic district

The meal and the service could not have been better. I had the sea bass special which was perfectly prepared, crisp on the outside, tender and moist within with a delicious sauce on a bed of parmesan mashed potatoes and beautiful asparagus. An unexpected delight in Hot Springs, Arkansas My husbands chicken fried chicken was wonderful and the fries alone were worth the visit. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality of the food.

The ribeye steak is great seasoned and grilled, "ask for the owner special". The drinks and service are both great! However the sausage and cheese appetizer is the best I have ever had! Would go back anytime, and would be so broke going here if I lived anywhere near there! You have to go if your ever near hot springs.

Wife got the 10oz prime rib (huge, flavorful, tender and hot) with a baked sweet potato and a salad with house made blue cheese. She raved about everything. Either the chef cooked the wrong piece of meat or the menu lied, because it was at least 16 oz. (shhhh, don't tell the owner). I got a hand-formed burger that tasted like a steak burger and was cooked perfectly. If your a burger fan, you have to try this burger. You'll agree that not just the flavor is great, but (as we know) the bun makes it and his one does not disappoint. Also, you have to get the hand cut fries. They remind me of the boardwalk fries from my childhood (from Atlantic City not the mall) and were served piping hot and seasoned just right. Highly recommend this place. Food was outstanding, service was super fast and friendly (especially for the end of a busy weekend). I could only find one complaint. French's mustard. I hate mustard, so I didn't have any. I know there are great restaurants at home in Dallas but, this was worth the drive and when we come back to the area this will be a stop for sure.

Seems to be a favorite with the locals but I was unimpressed. Food was good but not great. Service seemed to be slow but polite. They messed up one of our kids meals but fixed it with no issue. I'd say this is a safe choice restaurant and has a wider range of options so everyone can find something appealing. I had the steak and it was decent but I've had lots better.

DeeeLish. The crab cake was full of lump crabmeat, and so fresh! The prime rib was 5 stars--flavorful, tender, and perfectly prepared. The potato soup, adorned with bacon and cheddar, was a perfect choice for the first day of Fall when it is only 70*. The burger was perfect , according to our friend, and the petit filet was cooked just right! It is a casual establishment with fantastic food. What's not to like?!

KJ's was suggested to us by a friend. When we finally found the place we weren't immediately impressed with the back side of the building (which oddly faces the street from the direction we were coming). However this is a perfect example of the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover." We noticed immediately that the parking lot was very full, which bode well. That was further confirmed when we were asked if we had reservations. We didn't have reservations so there were no tables, but we did get seated at the bar. We commented about how nice it was on the inside especially given our initial impression from the outside. The food was excellent. My wife and I both had steak. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We sat by a jockey at the bar and it was obvious that people there were trainers, owners or otherwise associated with horse racing. The decor also supports this as it is all horse racing themed. Despite this, the art is something that I would hang on my wall. Very nice and tasteful. These are original pieces and not just framed prints. Bottom line is that this is a really great place with great food. Highly recommended.

Best Prime Rib in Hot Springs! Great Martinis, full and varied menu. Unassuming outside but VERY nice interior. Owners and servers are so attentive. Get on their mailing list for private wine previews/cocktail dinners.
